A friend at work had given me a whole bunch of vintage Hawaii postcards to share, and WOW, did they blow me away- The copyright date on the backs of the cards dates it as 1951, and these postcards depict a Hawaii of yesteryear!

As well, this vintage shot of the Royal Hawaiian back in the day...
...looks totally different, with the Royal Hawaiian now dwarfed by huge hotels all around it!
My co-worker had given me these postcards to post on facebook, and I told him that once they were uploaded, they were probably going to be taken and re-posted for many years to come! So as a joke, I watermarked them with his name "Grant's Collectibles" so that any time one of the postcards resurfaced, we would know it was his!
