Years ago me and a friend were getting bentos from a place in Palolo and while eating it outside, another customer who was getting something remarked to us, "This place is good, but you know who makes the BEST bentos? Kokoro Tei in Moiliili!
WELL with an endorsement like THAT, we promptly checked it out the following weekend. While I'm not sure I would call it the BEST bentos, it certainly was GOOD, and WOW, what a selection! In fact, it was their huge selection that became our primary motivation to go there! Since then we would still go from time to time for something different, and just the other day I had the craving for their karaage and dropped by!
They used to have a seating area inside, but since COVID they are a strictly "take out" only place, with a table set up right at the door for transaction. Anyway, I picked up Karaage for lunch, and a Wafu Hamburger bento for dinner! Mmm, good stuff!
