Doing a morning walk at Ala Moana Beach Park then lunch at the Panya Restaurant by Ward Village. As I recall, this building is in the same place as the old Japanese Bakery Panya...are they related? Don't know!
First time for me, and I was astounded at the SELECTION on the menu- so many kinds of styles to choose from! Many i wanted to try, (including the Pork Chop Fried Rice, which I will HAVE to get next time...), but in the end I had to go with the Panya Cheeseburger special! Boring choice, but very intersting taste- the burger came with a huge portobello mushroom and bacon strips, making for a very unique taste!
My friend had the Pad Thai- a huge beast of a dish that could have served two!
Definitely will be dropping in again !
