PS: Really love the atmosphere at this location...just a step up!

 Dropping in at "Ohana Hale" Eatery situated in the old NIKETOWN building in Waikiki for some breakfast at the "Waffle and Berry" Cafe....

Waffle and Berry is on the second floor so you can have your breakfast with a view....

Tracking The Moiliʻili Stream

 Love the way the Moiliili Stream just goes under Kapiolani Boulevard and goes between the Marco Polo Buildings on its way to the Ala Wai Canal…

I've always had a fascination with the Moiliili Stream ever since it was listed in a book I read about Hawaii Streams and what kind of freshwater fish you could find in them- As a kid, I remember thinking "Where the heck is Moiliili Stream???" And no wonder I couldn't find it, tucked away behind the homes and streets...

Always thought it was the oddest stream as it apparently came out from out of nowhere, flowing out from under a street, before making its way down to the Ala Wai....

Ala Wai Critter Sighting

 Was quite tickled to see a Spotted Eagle Ray foraging among the rocks in the Ala Wai Canal the other afternoon.! This was around the area where the Palolo Stream connects with the canal...unusual to see one of them so far inland, and fairly sized, too!!

 Rains made for some muddy weather and when I came out to my car after work I noticed that apparently a cat had used it as a shortcut to whatever destination he was going...

 FINALLY after two years of COVID tomfoolery, the Christmas City Lights Festival at Honolulu Hale is back in full force, complete with parade, eateries, live entertainment and tree/wreath shows!
