 The end of an era, Gecko Books in Kaimuki shuttered its doors this past month.

Gecko's was a mainstay throughout the whole comic-book boom in the 80's and 90's and we spent so much time there!

Really won't be another place like it!

 Very atmospheric, swirling clouds from the view at Pu'u O Park up the hill behind the Fire Station in Kaimuki

 The blue color of that building  back there looks so much like the color of the sky that it looks like there are three windows just randomly floating in the air!
