Probably a side of Pearlridge that they'd rather you not see, the drainage ditch between phases I and II, with the Sumida Watercress Farm off to the right. Back in the day (mid 90's), I'd use the ditch pathway to cut through from work at Tower Records Aiea across the street to get to Shirokiya to pick up my issue of KOKIKU each month!
Ah, those were the days.....

This photo I took of the old grain structure behind Bella Pietra on Nimitz totally giving me vibes of the classic PINK FLOYD album “ANIMALS” with its big city industrial factory look:

Got My HOLO card all ready to take a "Ride In the Sky" (as the Brand New Heavies once said) on the newly opened SKYLINE, of which , this Fourth of July weekend, was totally free to take a trip on!
Only had to wait 10 minutes or so til the next cab came by, and once it did, was instructed to get on right away before the doors closed!
As someone who once had to ride this line on the bus every day, it was quite a treat to see the route in a completely different way- viewed from over the rooftops!
Some of the various stations we stopped at before ending up at the last port in Kapolei and returning back...
All in all a very enjoyable trip however until they complete the rail and it connects to downtown (at this point it stops at the Stadium) I just can't see people widely using it since you'd still have to use the Bus after riding the Skyline....I'll check back in again when THAT'S done..maybe 2040!
